Honouring our ANZAC'S: Donald.

The A.I.P.P Reflections Project has sought an important mission to photograph as many of our ANZAC's as possible and I had the absolute honour of meeting and photographing Donald with his wife.

This project had sentimental importance to me as my dad's parents both met in the war, and fell inlove in the war. This made Donald, 94 years young, happy to know. We photographed Donald in his home because he had wheel chair restrictions.

His wife was camera shy, but allowed me to help her realise the importance of existing in the portraits for her children. She agreed they were wanting the images as they had already asked about them.

A few sentimental tears were  shed during this session, including by the photographer.
