A Mother & Daughter session- Kim & Gracie

In September 2006, I lost my mother to ovarian cancer. Our family due to work, school and in general life meant we didn't always get to spend as much time together as we wanted to- and one of the things mum and I did were to have "mother and daughter date nights" which would usually consist of going to the movies, having dinner and shopping.

The relationship between mothers and their soon to leave home to be married daughters particularly struck a chord with me when I saw how much of an emotional time this was for mothers. For these reasons, I have opened up a new experience within the studio at LA Photography, because it means so much to me to provide others with a chance for mothers and their daughters to come in for a Girls' Day Out and having fun.

Rarely do I come across my family clients who have actually had professional family portraits done before- and I therefore like to make these occasions as much fun as possible for them- and so far, they are enjoying them!
